Pope Day in Quincy, Massachusetts

We at Mary Star of the Sea in Quincy, Mass. are not celebrating Pope Day, but Pope Week!!!!

Each morning at daily Mass my homily has been on a different emphasis of John Paul the Great’s teaching. It will culminate this coming weekend with the co-celebration of his anniversary and the beatification of Mother Teresa (I have been blessed to be in both of their presences). — Fr. Fred Barr
